SYLVESTER Stallone has announced, via a video on his Facebook page, that he is working on the latest The Expendables film.
Despite an announcement by The Hollywood Reporter two weeks ago that rights to the film had been picked up, very little information on a sequel had been provided until now.
The video shows Stallone on a plane en route to Florida.
He states that he is visiting the US state to attend an event and also start working out for the new The Expendables.
He declares, “I’m going to start working out for the new Expendables. That’s going to be great, fingers crossed. We’re going to do our best but I think we’ve got some really great attitudes going. We’ve got great ideas. I think everyone’s expecting something different and we’re going to give it to them.”

The film is set to be the fourth installment in the series.
The first film was released in cinemas in 2010 and starred the likes of Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Following the initial release, the sequels have cast stars such a Liam Hemsworth, Mel Gibson and Bruce Willis.
No official casting, writing or directing statement has been released but if history is anything to go by (he co-wrote the first three screenplays), Stallone will have a role to play on the writing teams.
Action lovers, keep your eyes and ears peeled for any further updates on this one.
No stranger to working out, Sly is working on his body (and therefore the film) as we speak, meaning any further news should be coming soon.
