After 25 years of marriage, his third wife, Jennifer Flavin, filed for divorce on August 19, 2022, but just one month later, the longtime couple reconciled.
Who is Sylvester Stallone’s wife?
Jennifer Flavin was born in Los Angeles in 1968 and grew up with six siblings, including two sisters and four brothers.
Her father died when she was 12, leaving her mother to bring up seven children alone.
In order to support her family, she started modeling when she was 19 and was signed to Elite Modelling Agency.
After skin issues side-tracked her modeling career, she founded Serious Skin Care to “provide sensible, science-based skincare solutions to a myriad of beauty problems. From problematic and acne-prone skin to addressing the issues associated with the aging process.”
She has also been featured in reality shows including Good Day Live, American Gladiator, and The Contender.
When did she marry the Rocky star?
In 1988, Jennifer, then 19, met a twice-divorced Sylvester Stallone, then 42, at a restaurant in Beverly Hills.
They dated for six years before briefly splitting in 1994 after Sylvester broke up with Jennifer by sending a letter to her in the post.
At the time Jennifer told People magazine: “He sent me a six-page handwritten letter. It was pretty sloppy.”
She later found out he had been having an affair with model Janice Dickinson.
In the following year, Sylvester dated then-22-year-old model, Andrea Wieser. He then received accusations from Richard Gere that he was trying to romance his then-wife Cindy Crawford, and became briefly engaged to then-25-year-old Sports Illustrated model Angie Everhart.
However, Jennifer and Sylvester reconciled in 1995 before tying the knot in London in 1997.
On August 19, 2022, however, Jennifer filed for divorce from Sylvester and accused him of moving assets from their shared marital funds, according to TMZ.
She has requested sole domain over their home in Palm Beach, Flordia, during the proceedings.
On August 16, Sylvester sparked rumors of a broken marriage by getting a tattoo of his wife covered with Butkus, the dog from Rocky.
On September 23, 2022, it was revealed that Jennifer and Sylvester had reconciled once more.
The duo were reportedly able to talk things out and work out their differences.
They officially called off the divorce and are looking forward to sharing more time as a family.
Does the couple have any children?
Jennifer and Sylvester currently live in Los Angeles and have three daughters together.
Sophia was born in 1996, with Sistine arriving in 1998 and Scarlet in 2002.
All three daughters are currently working as models.
The family has their own reality show, The Family Stallone, which premiered in 2023 on Paramount+.
They have two half-brothers from Sylvester’s previous marriage to Sasha Czack.
Sage, who died aged 36 in 2012 from heart disease, and Seargeoh, who was born in 1979.
